Dallas-based Matthews Southwest, with support from Texas Central Partners, is putting together a pitch for Amazon's HQ2 campus for the transit-oriented development surrounding the proposed station for the bullet train.
The $5 billion campus could help accelerate plans for the Texas bullet train, which is expected to take passengers from Dallas to Houston in 90 minutes, with a midway stop in the Brazos Valley.
"This would redefine the definition of MSA and all of Texas would have an opportunity to benefit from Amazon," Texas Central President Tim Keith told the Dallas Business Journal. "Amazon would also benefit from the bullet train and helps them answer the mobility question in their RFP."
