Santa's elves will again be welcoming boys and girls, from 2 to 92, aboard the POLAR EXPRESS™ journey to the North Pole at Texas State Railroad this November and December.
Tickets are now on sale through the Texas State Railroad website for the annual event that has brought thousands of families from all parts of Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma to the East Texas town of Palestine for this holiday train ride.
The ride through the piney woods is based on the motion picture POLAR EXPRESS™ and once onboard, dancing chefs serve hot chocolate and cookies as they recite the classic children’s book, The POLAR EXPRESS™ by Chris Van Allsburg.
Accommodations aboard the POLAR EXPRESS™ train range from Coach Class with Pullman-style seating and an Open-Air Coach to First Class with couches, chairs or booths. There is limited seating available in the Presidential Class and the Dome Class in a doubledecker dome car.
All cars have large viewing windows, so children can get their first glimpse of Santa and the North Pole.
All POLAR EXPRESS™ train rides depart from Texas State Railroad’s Palestine depot located at 789 Park Road 70, Palestine, TX 75801
