The Texas Northwestern Railway [TXNW], a subsidiary of TNW Corporation, has landed Crop Production Services (CPS), a subsidiary of the global agricultural giant Agrium, Inc., as the first tenant for the railway’s recently opened Panhandle Logistics Park. The Park is a 580-acre, rail-served industrial park located in the Texas Panhandle about an hour north of Amarillo, Texas.
The Park is the region’s hub for railcar storage, warehousing, commercial development, transload and transportation services, offering shovel-ready sites with access to Three Phase power and water. It is served by the TXNW Railway and offers Class One rail service through BNSF.
Crop Production Services, an international fertilizer company based in Loveland, CO., will develop a multi-million-dollar facility that will bring new jobs and growth to Moore County. The new facility will function as a retail location offering agricultural products and services to the region. Construction on the facility has already begun and completion should occur in early 2018.
“Crop Production Services is an excellent anchor tenant to our recently opened, rail-served Panhandle Logistics Park. It was clear from the beginning that this partnership will bring value to Moore County and the broader region,” said Clayton Kendall, corporate property manager, TNW. “We look forward to beginning our relationship with Crop Production Services. We believe this will be the first of many companies that will choose to call Panhandle Logistics Park home.”
