A Houston-to-Dallas high-speed rail company has found itself in legal wrangle with a landowner who refuses to let company surveyors on his property.
Dallas-based Texas Central Partners sought a court order in Harris County to allow its surveyors onto the man's property, but then lawyers for the company withdrew their request for entry, according to the Houston Chronicle.
TCP said this is one part of an ongoing legal battle, but the landowner's attorney,Blake Beckham, called the decision "a great day for … landowner rights," per the Chronicle.
