TNW Corporation, a privately held operator of short line railroads and logistics centers, celebrated a major expansion of facilities and services at its short line railway, the Texas Gonzales Northern, in the Harwood-Gonzales area of Central Texas. The ceremony was highlighted by comments from U.S. Representative Blake Farenthold, R-TX, TNW officials and local elected and business leaders from the Gonzales-Harwood area.

The ceremonies marked:

the expansion of TXGN’s rail yard, which increased TXGN’s storage capacity by 400 railcars
the official opening of a newly constructed locomotive maintenance facility, designed for the TXGN fleet and future rail car maintenance services
and a new partnership with Strataflex International Services Group to provide rail car cleaning services. The facility includes hydro-blasting cleaning, fogger washes, internal and external scrubs and recoating services, and imaging and inspection technology.
