(Dallas) - Paul Treangen, CEO of TNW Corporation, has been elected President of the Texas Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (TSLRRA). Treangen, who assumed office in January 2017, will serve a two-year term, with an option for an additional two-year term. Also elected to TSLRRA’s executive committee for 2017-2018 were Scott Traylor, Rio Grande Pacific Railroad, as Vice President and David Perkins, Angelina Neches River Railroad, as Secretary.

The association plays an important role in representing the short line railroad industry to the state legislature and in generally promoting the prosperity of the industry within the state. During my term, we will make these initiatives our top responsibilities.”
Treangen has served as CEO of Dallas-based TNW Corporation since 2014. In all, he has more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive in the transportation and energy industries. He has served as President of Alliant Energy Transportation and Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Railroad; and Director of Generation and Director of Electric and Gas Delivery for Alliant Energy Corporation, a NYSE company.
He is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Arts degrees.
