KCS working with Laredo planners to reduce wait time at rail crossings

LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - The rail company Kansas City Southern is approaching planners about what can be done to reduce the inconveniences, at railroad crossings around the city.
We've reported before about the inconveniences a lot of people face, especially on the west side, with stopped trains blocking the roads.
The railroad says it wants to respond to residents' wishes, to keep train traffic out of city limits.
At a meeting, the railroad talked to members of the municipal planning organization that represents our area.
